The passive is often used to describe a process.

The passive consists of the verb to be + the past participle

Example

The Daily Mirror is printed in London.

The stories are written in the editorial room.

The passive can be used in any tense. To make different tenses we change the part of to be.

Napiš si do školního sešitu 5 vět z učebnice 57/2b. Nezapomeň datum 16th March. Ústně si procvič trpný rod v přítomném čase 57/5.
